It is an entry for a design competition but not by a design school..

From what I can gather, CRK s.r.l. is an engineering company based in northern Italy, which organised this competition in 2011 to design a light electric vehicle. Several of the entrants have included the CRK initials into their model names, but the puzzle car was designed by Sasank Gopinathan from Kochi, India.
