This car looks familiar, but this being AutoPuzzles it may not be quite what it seems..
So what is it, from when and where - for 1 point?

Crikey, that was easier than I thought!
Indeed it is the VW Brasilia made (or just assembled?) in Nigeria.

I think it was only assembled in Nigeria from CKD kits sent from Brazil - although the big difference is that Brazilian built and Mexican-assembled Brasilias were three door and the Igala was a five door.

Yes, think the 5-door was only for the Nigerian market.  I remember from my Nigerian days that they only liked 4/more doors as you never drove yourself but always employed a driver.  It was impossible to hire a car only, only a car and driver; this was because of the absolutely appalling driving standards there...

Not only for the Nigerian market, Brasilia also was sold in Brasil with the 5-door body, although it was called Brasilia 4 Portas (4-door)
