What a simply beautiful design - so simple and elegant compared to today's bewinged and beslotted beasts. This little (V8-powered?) car with its lovely unadorned wide-rims says such a lot about this era of motor racing, where lightness and sleekness were to the fore (but safety sadly was bottom of the list of priorities). I loved the sensuality of these cars - wouldn't you just want to run your hand smoothly along the bodywork after admiring it from all angles (for about an hour)? To my eye it's just delicious!  8) 8) 8)

Agree with Richard. One of my favourite F1 cars in terms of looks.

Yes I love it as well.
Still the most beautiful from that era is the Eagle Weslake in my opinion.

Derrington-Francis ATS?

Yes, Sir!

Well, well, well.  I knew I had reference photos that looked like it, but I figgered it was a shot in the dark.  Thanks for the point.
