Crikey, and I thought this would be a difficult one; is there such a thing?!
However, you've only answered 2 out of the 4 questions asked so no point yet.

What's this car: Bedmore Special
Who built it:  William Jolly
Based on what: A combination of a 1929 Morris Minor and a Bedford truck (motor and brakes)
When: Between 1948 when he crashed the Morris and 1953 when he sold it to Tony Lucas.

Thank you very much, good sir.  It seems like it's taken forever to reach that 100 point level...but...well, I have no idea where the summer's gone.  If nothing else, this site has certainly held my attention.  Good thing I live alone, otherwise I'd be (rightly) accused of neglecting other things in favor of solving Auto Puzzles.  Ironically, my oldest son writes puzzles (and solves them) for a different site.  He's not nearly into cars like his ol' man, although he drives a Nissan 350Z.  To add to the irony, since the time that I went with him to look at the Z-car and ran it hard thru the gears, I don't think the motor's been over 3000 rpm.  :)  Hell, I have to spin my race car motor up to 3500 just to get the alternator started.   ;)

Speaking of which, I'd better get out to the garage and finish installing the winch on the trailer.

Thank you very much.  As I wrote, this site sure keeps me occupied.  I'm not sure what I'll do when I get to that 200 point level...I guess I'll have to start posting my own puzzles a lot more than I do now.

I did get some of the work on the trailer done.  It'll sure be nice to use an electric winch to pull the car onto it rather than trying to drive it on.  That's been a major pain.  I guess progress is good...even if time is running short.

Thanks again,
