It is a Cooper - as easy as that  :) But please, more precise (model type). Locked for you until your next guess.

I believe it's a T-53, circa 1959.  I have a feeling that I should know who's driving it, but I just don't.

Sorry, it's not T53. Unlocked for all, but Ray, you still have a chance to be first with a right answer! :)

Looks like a T51, but ...

... it's a Formula Junior T52.

Edit - beaten to it

Indeed! It is a Formula Junior Cooper T52 with a BMC A engine as seen in 1966 at Fernandina Beach, driven by Larry Perkins.

Trommel, it seems that you have edited your message later than sixtee5cuda has posted his guess? Then it would be fair to give that point to him?

Actually you can only see when he made his last edit, which was the one which said "beaten to it".
You can't tell when he edited the model..
Trommel is however very honest and agrees he was too late!
He may, however, have posted his edit before he saw sixtee5scuda's identification and my solution in such cases is sometimes to give them each a point.
That's only my penn'orth however; how you deal with your puzzles is entirely your own affair!

Sure, I could only see the time of the last edit, but given Trommel's comment ('beaten to it'), I have considered that he has seen sixtee5cuda's reply when he finished editing. That's why I asked - to clarify this.

Trommel, thank you for supporting AutoPuzzles fairplay spirit, but the point will go to sixtee5cuda, as he was a little bit earlier. You will have a point next time ;)
