Shoprider Rainrider mobility scooter.

Wouldn't have normally found out but a couple of weeks ago I saw a seemingly able-bodied bloke, in a suit, driving along the King's Road in a red one, taking photos of people with an SLR. Very strange.

Shoprider is right, but I have a different model name for this.

Why not? We had invacars before. There is a flowing border between invalid carriages and microcars. Some French "voitures sans permis", although regarded as microcars in France, were sold in Germany mainly as invalid carriages without there being an external difference. I think some strange vehicles as the Shoprider posted as a puzzle from time to time won't spoil AutoPuzzles.  ;)

Anything mobile is fair game.
We have lorries, buses, even tanks as well as mobility scooters and motorcycles.
You don't have to take part in any puzzle you don't want to.
You may also post as many of your own puzzles as you wish, but believe me, researching original and new puzzles on any kind of scale takes quite some research...

Where I live we can get freak wind storms with wind speeds as high as 50 mph gusting to 70.  Winds of 20-30 mph are normal for the high desert.  I can NOT imagine driving something like that in conditions like those.  Well, I guess I can.  It'd be on its side in a New York Second.  For those who don't know that phrase, it describes the infinitesimally short time between the stop light going green and the horn in the car behind you sounding off.

'Course I've been driving my Suburban (6000 pounds) with my race car on a trailer behind it (another 5000 pounds) for a good part of the day (I got the new exhaust installed and a coupla other things taken care of.)  When I got home, put the race car in the garage, the trailer parked beside said garage, then drove my Camaro into the driveway, it felt like riding a skateboard.  That's about as small as I wanna go.  Btw, the Camaro's a baby one: 2.8l V6 w 5-speed manual...my idea of a great economy car.

Yes, I did mean to add a reply after this was solved something to the effect of cornering at any speed must be interesting...!

Also I note it's called a Shoprider but it looks to me like they forgot to include somewhere to actually put the shopping...  Maybe they offer a roof-box as an extra, to make its stability even more interesting!!

A Danish site claims that it is developped and designed in Scandinavia.

In Germany PractiComfort sell it as the PractiComfort Smart. I doubt Mercedes-Benz likes that.  :D

It is sold as Minibil in Denmark (and in Germany by another dealer).
