53'Kurtis Meteor SR-100?

There are those who reckon it either is or was Meteor-based when work started on it, but I think the builders deny that...!

The Karow Special from 1955.  Built by Lou Simpson and brothers Bill and Fred Karow on a MAMECO chassis with a '55 Lincoln V8 motor.  The windshield that looks so much like a Corvette is from a T-bird.

Featured in the April 1955 issue of Motor Trend magazine.
