Identify this car for 1 point:

IŽm quite sure this was an early if not the very first Pollmann concept car.
Something with "Silver" in its name and very possibly a repost.

IŽll check this when IŽll be back home.


EDIT: it is NOT the Pollmann Silver '73... :P


But I dang know it...

Has it a NSU engine?

You're right - it's nothing to do with Pollmann!
It doesn't have an NSU engine, no.

I remember seeing it on a dealer's page (the one on the license plate), but can't recall what it was. Is it BMW-engined?

Found it! Is is a Lotus (BMW) 700 RS Spider Bergrennwagen from 1960.
Well, the dealer used this designation for the car.
IŽve only saved some pics, but not the entire ad with details, when it was for sale.

That's the car.
There was very little information about the car apart from its name and what it was built for.
So I have no idea who built it or when...
Solved anyway!

Simple lines at their most beautiful. I think it's a competent (and brave) designer who knows when to stop adding unnecessary lines and curves - and this is an excellent example of measured restraint. 8) 8)
