It's probably not true, I just guessed! The Corvair came out in '59 and the wagon didn't appear until '61 - I thought there was a slim chance a total of 17 months had elapsed between the two events!

Sorry, but the mathematician in me has some doubts about the quoted "fact". If 92 lb was 28 % of the car's weight, the Corvair would have weighed just 328 lb. Quite a lightweight

I'm struggling with this last one, 28 and "B", the Corvair Lakewood Station Wagon.

All I have come up with so far, and this is from people fitting the engines into light aircraft, is that a Corvair engine is 28 inches wide and 28 inches long.

Apart from that, I'm stumped!

I've struggled to find a connection too.

The best I can come up with is that the words 'Chevrolet Corvair Station Wagon' have 28 letters.

That's it! The rear tire pressure (cold) for a Corvair station wagon is 28 PSI. Well done!
