What's this, by whom, from when - for 1 point?

Google Search by Image continues to raise its ugly head on AutoPuzzles.

This is a 1974 design proposal from Ital design for the Jaguar XJ40. It was stronly influenced by the Maserati Medici ...

I will give you a point anyway since you did identify the car and you would have come back with the right answer.
Since I asked you a specific question and was awaiting your reply it was of course not right of delorean to jump in, although he does seem to have realised what he did.  I also have to give him a point though as only he fully identified the car.
