Identify what this is and from when it dates, for 1 point:

Google Search by Image continues to raise its ugly head on AutoPuzzles.

I've actually found this picture while searching for another puzzle: it's a 1946 Chrysler A-109 ; due to lack of materials in that time, it has plastics wheelscovers and bumpers in stainless steel (this last bit I translated from a Swedish website)
