What's this nice red car, by whom and from when - for 1 point?

No, it's not a Stanguellini.
1100 is right though and the year is quite close but not spot-on.

You seem to have found the right car, built by Colli but slightly earlier.
The Roselli bit refers to the engine conversion however - it has a Roselli head.
But that's not the 'make' of car!
Locked for you to dig a bit further and tell me what it's badged as.

Interesting dilemma but lets go with: 1947 FIAT Volpini built by Colli with Roselli head.

The dilemma: I found your picture and another on the website each with an entirely different caption.
The other description: 1940 FIAT 1100 Roselli.   :faint:

Yes - I've seen the one you mention too but it's wrong!
But you're right with the Volpini, though whether it's from 1946 or 1947 seems to be open to debate.  Don't think we'll ever quite get to the bottom of that question though, so solved it is!
