What is this car, for 1 point?

Singer SM 1500 glassfibre special c. '53 built by Perry Fuller most likely with help of William Vaughn ,Singer importer to USA ?

It is a Singer but not an SM1500; the car you mention would be a re-post.
I'll lock it for you to come up with what this particular car actually is and what it's called.

Hadn't realised there was such a convoluted history !
I guess puzzle car was influenced by the Fuller car & was based on the roadster chassis.
Seems to be known as the "pre prototype SMX" ,puzzle photo was in the archives of the Singer guy responsible for the ill-fated SMX project ?
