What's this car and what powers it - for 1 point?

Google Image Search continues to raise its ugly head on AutoPuzzles.
For the sake of our newer members who may not be aware of past discussions on it, Google Image Search as a means of solving puzzles is banned on this website.

AutoPuzzles is primarily a game of automotive knowledge, not of who can copy and paste the quickest.

We ask all members to remember and respect this, and retain the right to ask puzzle-solvers how they came to their answer.

Have fun!

It does have the same registration and it is T-4 from 1947.
But is that the same car as your first picture?
Certainly the door line on the puzzle car is different, but of course down the years it may well have been changed.
If you can investigate the history of the T-4 then you should get to the answer of my puzzle and be able to tell me its motive power.
Compare the length of my puzzle with the second picture you posted (of T-4 now returned to original as-built specification), particularly around the cockpit area..

Thanks!
There is actually another thread for the original one.
The puzzle car here was the same car but in a different (temporary) guise!
