Ratso Italiano it's called. A one-off made by John Woolley.
It's not denial, I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.

Indeed it is!  Well done!
But you still need to complete the answers to the questions posed to earn your point. Locked for you of course.
In the meantime here are a few more pictures of it:

Powered by a 302 Ford engine, made in Dunnville, Ontario.

And apparently it used to have a different rear end.

Correct.
That's the original rear-end and the one it has in the 2 front-view pictures above.
And it does have a Ford 302 cu in V8 mated to a BW T5 gearbox.
Solved at last!

He's making those dragstrip runs with a T5?????  He's gonna end up with a transmission in worse shape than mine!

T5s are great transmissions (I have one in my Camaro...not a hot rod at all) but they're pretty weak, even the World Class versions won't handle much more than 350 ft lbs of torque...and listening to that car with the lumpy cam, I'd wager he's right about at the limit.  One good, sticky track and a hard launch (he didn't smoke the tires in the run I saw, so it must have plenty of grip) and that main gear cluster is toast.

Ohhh...maybe I should explain.  The photos I've attached are of the TH200-4R automatic transmission from my race car.  I broke it on the Bonneville Salt Flats last year.  The car has a 406 cid V8 with 500-550 hp.  Not exactly the same thing as the Ratso and mine didn't break for the same reason I'm forecasting doom and gloom for him, but it's still what can happen to race car parts...and I consider myself lucky that I just broke it, I didn't wreck it.

The whole story is on my primary website listed in my profile.  It's pretty easy to find...just look for the black Monte Carlo.

No idea why he chose a T5.
I have a T10 with my Ford 289 V8; much meatier!

T-10 is a much stronger trans.  But I bet he ran into the same issues I did as I was trying to decide what to do with the broken trans case.  I have to have a an overdrive trans with the rear end I'm running.  I was faced with keeping the TH200-4R, making some fairly significant changes to run a TH700R4 or completely going overboard and converting to a manual trans and using a Tremec 3550 or T-56.  I would really have preferred the manual, but I don't think I could have finished it by September.  I got a call today from the tranny guy and he should have the guts of the race-built trans into my old case...except for the front pump and input shaft, which are toast...he'll put new parts in to replace those...as is the torque converter.  Good thing I have a backup for that.

That was one expensive pinion yoke!
