Solved - NEH 1463: Peugeot 502 10 CV prototype - 1939

What's this, from when? for 1 point..

Google Image Search continues to raise its ugly head on AutoPuzzles.
For the sake of our newer members who may not be aware of past discussions on it, Google Image Search as a means of solving puzzles is banned on this website.

AutoPuzzles is primarily a game of automotive knowledge, not of who can copy and paste the quickest.

We ask all members to remember and respect this, and retain the right to ask puzzle-solvers how they came to their answer.

Have fun!

No, it's not a Peugeot..

Yes it is, because it's the prototype of the 10 CV Peugeot 502 of 1939, registered 6504EK2
This prototype was intended to replace the Peugeot 402, but the war has decided otherwise

Well fancy that..!
The 'Site I got the picture from described it as something completely different, but I can see why having found their source..
I have been unable to find a picture of the car you describe anywhere else but you do seem to have full info on it so I'll give you a point for its correct ID, although it's not what I thought it was!  Hopefully it's not a repost..

So that I can verify that what I'm describing the car as is in fact correct would you be able to point me towards some further info on this prototype, either by posting it yourself or PM'ing me where I might find it?
Thanks.

And sorry qwaszx for giving you an incorrect answer, but that was based on the info I had at the time; unfortunately I can't give you a point because you didn't give the correct ID in the end.

Sorry, it was for Carnut.
I found this picture in a site were it was (incorrectly) described as a Breguet Electric Prototype of 1941. I didn't reply earlier because there was an active puzzle with a Breguet (the one you found out) and I didn't want to spoil the fun.
BTW, it's a pleasure to have you at Autopuzzles...I'm looking forward to see your puzzles!  ;)

Yes!  I should have read up more thoroughly as the references I've found to the Breguet refer to it as a 2-seater aerodynamic coupe, so the picture couldn't have been right.

There are quite a lot of errors on that site (they described my TVR as by Vignale, which I put them straight on!) and I have actually written a comment on the site correcting their error, although I didn't read it through before hitting 'Send' and the English looks like it's written by someone with a very limited knowledge of the language!
