It looks like a late 50's sports racer, just a guess : a Chevrolet-special ?

This is the 1957 Proctor Special-Chevrolet driven by Rory Rinebold. Motor is a 332" Chevy Smallblock (327 with a .030 overbore.)

Yes, that's the car.
It's also known as the Cooper-Proctor Chevrolet Special after it's constructors, Phil Cooper & Clem Proctor of Los Angeles CA.
