Austin 750 Special 1955?
Austin 750 is correct and 1950s is the decade - 1955 is incorrect.
LOCKED for you for one guess only as to the year.....otherwise it will be open to all again to guess the correct year for the point.

Allemano is correct so one point for him and I'll also give a point to Wendax for guessing the Austin 750 part.
Bad luck Otto.....
I'm feeling generous this weekend!

Anyway, the question (and one point) remains for who can provide the name of the constructor.
The car was built in 1954 on a 1928 Austin Seven chassis.

A clue - His surname is similar to a feature at the Le Mans circuit.

Here's the two unadulterated photos of the car from my files -

Thank you. I guess the constructor wasn't called Dunlop-Bridge?  :D

I'm glad you picked up on the clue - it is indeed J.W. Whitehouse's Austin 750 Special.
Well done and another point for you.

Glad you found it and I have to add that it's great to reveal another car that would otherwise be lost in the mists of time.....
Watch this space for more of the same in the future.
