Jim Trueman built racer for 1975 SCCA championship

The car is a Bobsy 2-L (which may just refer to the 2-litre Cosworth engine).  Picture may have been taken during the Can-Am weekend at Mosport Park, 3/6/1979.  Driver of the car was S. Peter Smith.  Car didn't finish race due to clutch issues.

Sorry shamrock, you were on the right path, but sixtee5cuda is correct about the car - it is a Bobsy (supposedly SR6) with a 2-liter Cosworth engine driven by Peter Smith in 1979.
