A sports racer from a long time ago.....
What was it called, what engine did it use and when was it built?

I can see the resemblance but it's not a JBW.
The make it's based on was relatively well known in club racing in the UK in the 1950s

Is it named xxx-special? There is a list of Bucklers I could work my way through but I haven't seen this particular car before...

The bodywork does bare a striking resemblance to the second BB100 prototype although the air intake is quite different on those two cars so I doubt it's the same, though I guess built in a similar period, say 1956-58?

The period is correct.
It was named x-x where the first x was the name it was known by and the second x the make of engine.
Still locked for you.

Well the only thing I can find that matches is the 'MGW' or 'Westbury-MG'.

I have another couple of guesses, but as they are just guesses I think you can unlock this now...

Neither of those two.
I know where you are searching barrett but the car is listed there without any indication of what the engine is....

Well that's going to make it considerably more difficult! So, does anyone know an even more complete list of Bucklers?  ;)

Okay let's provide a clue - the year was 1957 and it was based on a Buckler MK 90.... ;)
