This car has been rebodied but can you pinpoint the make, model and the original date of the chassis plus the year it was rebodied?

It's a 1927 Bugatti Type 39A Grand Prix rebuilt to Type 51A. Later rebodied with a sportscar body and engine substituted for T 38A engine.

I don't know when the traditional Bugatti radiator was refitted though...
