Wow!  Just as we have all been warned. Once a "fact" gets on enough websites, it is regarded as true.

I am otherwise short of pictures but I am going to take a guess:

Is it the 1956 Panhard Dyna Disco Volante driven by Giancarlo Rigamonti?

Not that one, sorry.
I'll unlock it now for any further guesses.

It's true that there are many untrue facts on the Internet and other sources should be checked first (if possible)

I'm going to add clues tonight for the unsolved ones.
You will see them on the first page where the results are listed.

#3 - I guess I've seen it while looking through Australian cars. No name was specified though. Still I have a reason to suppose it is under 1300cc.

#16 - I can think of only Weber Special from GB, but there's still a difference is spelling from M.Webber...

It's not Australian but does have an engine less than 1000cc

Yes that's the car.
I meant to say it is similar to the name of a current F1 driver - apologies for that.

Is #13 the ex-Barbier Peugeot 203 rebodied in 1955 by Carrosserie Bonnet in Alès for Paul Guirand, being driven at the 1956 Liège-Rome-Liège?

woodinsight

Not in that event and it's a smaller car

Faksta has already suggested that this is a Sauter-DKW which is not the name I have this one under.
It has a Sauter body though and did win a race in the Far East at a different venue, different year and different driver.
See my reply to Faksta below for a comparison of the cars.

You probably are looking for Brugger-DKW for #18? Brugger built chassis, Sauter made body, so both names are in use.
I can see what you mean - the car appears to have a Sauter body but is right-hand drive.
I don't know about the Brugger-DKW but the puzzle car is from the Far East and is named after a well-known German name with a model name 1000RS and dates from 1959.
Any more thoughts? I'll lock it for you anyway at the moment.
Faksta, I have just replied to siata1 regarding #18.
I think it would be good now to compare the Sauter-DKWs on the Sauter site with the puzzle car (original photo).

Two photos of the Sauter DKW and the original photo of #18.
Note a few differences - the puzzle car is right-hand drive, etc.

Indeed, but the body is surely Swiss.

Was it raced in Malaya?

Yes it is a Sauter body.
It was pictured in a Malysian/Singapore event

faksta

Was it entered as Auto Union 1000 RS? 1960, Bill Wyllie? Johore GP?
