The coachwork is Dutch but the chassis is from a different country

Hiawatha:

I am not trying to steal your question or your point, you are doing very well for a newcomer.

I cannot identify the brand of the bus or the coachmaker at this point, but just to prove I do try, maybe I can get a half point if the following is correct.

Owner of the bus may be:  Peter Langhout Reizen BV.
Alphen aan den Rijn  Netherlands.

Very good Bill,
Don't worry about stealing a point as Hiawatha didn't quite go far enough to justify a lock.
However as you have identified the operator correctly I'll lock it for you until your next reply to find the chassis make and coachbuilder.....

Thank you for the kind words, but please go ahead and unlock the question.

Postwar busses are not in my normal field of research and I really have no idea where to look.

Based on my passion for wheeled military vehicles 1935/1945, which can at times be more difficult than a passion for civilian vehicles, I often dig very deeply for clues as I did here.

In any case, as I said earlier, Hiawatha is doing very well and seems to have a lot of knowledge of post 1945 vehicles so if he can finish the question, all the better.

Bill
Cheers

Actually my guess of a Belgian coachbuilder came from the identification of the operator which appears to be still trading.
I thought that Belgian coachbuilders were more active than dutch ones.  Apart from that honestly I haven't a clue as the rim embellishers cover the wheels that are often a good giveaway. Judging from the front lights it could be dated very late fifties early fifties.
