My source for this puzzle is still in store so I have only scant information on this sports racer.
For a point then, identify the make, nationality, engine size and year

Abarth Fiat 3000 (SE 022) 1971.
The mid engined sport car is powered by a 3 liter V8, isn't it?

Nothing to do with Abarth.
The car is powered by a modified Fiat engine but much smaller than 3000cc.
Also it is younger than 1971.

I said in my original post that I didn't have access to my library where this car was featured. That has now changed and I have the full details to hand.

Yes, you're correct so far - the car was built by Giuseppe Lombardo but it also had a separate name.......
LOCKED for you to complete.
