Solved - MJW #1032 - Rowe Hillmaster coach by Whitson
« on: November 13, 2012, 01:25:22 PM »
I'm keen on coaches built in the 1940s/1950s primarily because of the coachwork fitted to these vehicles.
Identify the make, type and coachbuilder please.

Rookies not interested - perhaps it will appeal to an Expert?

Not an AEC - it's a lesser known marque.

Big area for the badge - a Foden?  Maybe a PVRF6?  Flamboyant wheel arch trim, maybe Whitson?

Okay, you're half-way there Max. The coachwork is by Whitson but it's not a Foden.
As a clue, this chassis manufacturer made less than half-a-dozen psv chassis.
I'll LOCK it for you until your next reply only to complete it.

Yes, that's it! One point for you.
I hope that you will be solving some of my bus/coach puzzles in future - there's not too many of us on this site.
