According to Martin Krejki's usually reliable site there was no Mardal in the 1951 Mille Miglia, but in 1952 car no 2341 was a Mardal driven by Marzotto and Carlesso

The MarDal was constructed in 1951 by Umberto
Marzotto & Nicolo
Dal Moro and as you correctly point out was raced in the 1952 Mille Miglia driven by Marzotto & Carlesso. Chassis frame was by Gilco, engine was a 750cc Giannini and the body was built by Carrozzeria A. Fontana of Padova who were also responsible for bodying many Italian etceterini.
