AL74 - Raymond Mays as a boy
« on: January 25, 2012, 10:26:00 AM »
This is a boy who will go far and fast at the wheel of other things (Not sure about his friend though). Who knows who he was and what he went on to do?

33 views and not a guess, and there seem to be hundreds of Rookie puzzles like that, so up one step.

Raymond Mays ?
Yes, that is what his name was and as I asked "who  he was and what he went on to do?" it's locked for you to complete that for the benefit of those who don't know.

Thanks for completing this M630, and I felt sure you could!
I think that there are a lot of people on this site who know a lot about the cars but not about the people, and in particular people whose really active time was half a century ago or more.
I think he wasn't as old as that as his book gives his age when the picture was taken as ten and its date as 1909. I would say 1/8/99 - 6/1/80 was correct.

Why do I keep thinking that young Raymond might be saying "BRM! BRM!"   :)
