Okay I'll pick no.23 as this is a highly unusual bus.
It's a 1930 LGOC CC Class with a Meadows engine. It started off life as a double-decker (one of four built) but was later bought by coach operator White Heather of Southsea and rebodied as a coach by Duple.

Okay I'll pick no.23 as this is a highly unusual bus.
It's a 1930 LGOC CC Class with a Meadows engine. It started off life as a double-decker (one of four built) but was later bought by coach operator White Heather of Southsea and rebodied as a coach by Duple.

Yes, absolutely right, well done.  The rebodying by Duple was done in 1939, for the record.

Instead, I think that #2 is the Versare of the Boston Elevated Railway, for which I found this description :

Thank you to all who identified the Boston Elevated Railway bus #1204. It was built by, the drum roll please, the Versare Corporation of Albany, New York. From the information that people had sent us, the Versare Corp. built buses from 1925 through 1931. They became a part of the Cincinnati Car Company around 1929 and the bus pictured seated 37 passengers. The Versare buses were considered advanced for their day and some were powered by gas-electric motors. A number of transit companies in cities throughout the Untied States and Canada purchased them besides the Boston Elevated Railway, including Albany, Cleveland, Montreal, and New York.

The image can be found by googling it.

However, #2 is wrong on both counts so you still have 2 points to go!
Boston Elevated Railway was the proof.

OK, slight cock-up here as I had #2 as a 1931 Twin Coach, but clearly that was wrong.  That's why I said woodinsight wasn't right,
so really he's due another point for getting that right after all.

Also Pguillem is due a point for getting the Boston Elevated Railways bit of that one right, which takes his tally to 6; but he's also due another point for identifying the Yuton in #21 as being operated in Skopje (actually by JSP), which takes his total to 7 as well.

So that takes each of those puzzlers to 7 points, for which I will make an exception since they have been earned in good faith, but the maximum for the moment still remains at 6 per puzzler..

Here's another picture of #21, the Yutong Citymaster, in service with JSP in Skopje.
Compare its appearance with the one of the first prototype London Routemasters back in the mid 1950's!

Bus design has moved on somewhat in the meantime, but maybe they wanted some nostalgia!

I was in Skopje short after the earthquake.  I didn't see any double-decker, but in fact very little remained.  A very sad view.

Good news !  #6 is the Austin J2 from 1968, property of Gordon Holland.  It was called as the World's most Ugly PSV.
