Markson from New Zealand, possibly based on a Bolwell mk 5 chassis.

That's the one. In fact I strongly suspect it started life as a Bolwell shell.

I'm not familiar with Marksons and only slightly familiar with Bolwell.  Could someone explain the relationship?

Thanks,

This car has been the subject of discussion on a Bolwell forum, and the view there is that a body and chassis were purchased from Bolwell in Australia, cut into pieces and shipped to New Zealand; this then formed the basis of the Markson and indeed some other cars.

Ahhh...I see.  I DID run across the Bolwell board, but didn't spend enough time there to glean that info.

Thanks,

RtR
