Picture taken during one of those Six Hour Le Mans endurance races?
My source gives a year but doesn't mention a particular event.

It's Pegasus, built by Bob Annear. The Holden unit was swapped later on for a Peugeot engine. Puzzle picture taken in 1960.

I don't know what engine is fitted in the puzzle photo, but the car started life with a Holden engine, yes.

Sorry, but no. I think we've probably had the Repco-Holden before.

 I don't know. Sorry.

(I have just discovered that this car has been a previous puzzle. It didn't register the first time I did a search, but it's there now! Maybe this will make it easier to identify)

1960/61 Bob Annear's Pegasus Holden/Peugeot

That's the one. Well found.  I don't know which engine is fitted at the time of this photo!

Another point for you, and I'll merge the puzzles. The search facility of AP is surely a mysterious thing.
