Adrian Newey?
:-\

The name is not identical to an F1 designer; it is very similar, however. There is a difference of one letter only.

Adrian Neway?

Sorry - I didn't follow the line of questioning here. Allemano, you said Adrian Newey, I replied that it wasn't him an F1 designer's name, but very close. I was unclear in my response.

Woodinsight, I thought that you were re-guessing what Allemano had already guessed.

My apologies to both. The name rhymes with Adrian Newey, with the same vowels. Only one consonant is different. I'll let Allemano guess first, as he gave Newey's name first; and then, Woodinght.

Does this refer to fore– and surname of Adrian Newey?

True enough. But what, specifically, was this rendering for?

That's the second half of the puzzle. From page 13 of Dewey's book

In this drawing I sketched out the design using an automatic pencil and then used a series of grey and blue Pantone Tria Markers to block in the colour. A black marker for the wheels, grille and lights, and white acrylic paint for the highlights more or less completing the drawing. To finish it off I emphasized the  edges using a thin ballpoint pen. If you notice, I didn't worry about keeping the shading within the lines as it was important to get the markers won quickly. Doing this helps keep the paper wet, which aids blending, but also gives the drawing more movement. Once you are familiar with using markers this way, you should be able to get this kind of drawing done fairly quickly.
