This picture puts its size into context.
I had to blot out another watermark which gave the game away, which is why the guy has no face!

In that larger pic, it almost looks like the front fenders are re-purposed oil drums

I have that picture with a watermark that has no clue for the name of the car. The name i have is Nobuyuki Kosaka, but i think he is the photographer. The year (of the picture or built of the car) is 1968.

I had the car as a home-built special built by Nobuyuki Kosaka in 1968 so I'm going to give you the point for that..
Below shows what was written on the reverse of the photo used for this puzzle, from which you can see that the car was indeed built by Mr Nobuyuki Kosaka and what's more it has a name, which I have included in the heading!
