It's up to the experts to put a name on this mean machine.

I'll put a name to it. I'll call it "Shiny."

Is that a Duvall windscreen?  If so, that would place this car as being built in the late '40's...the headlights seem to datre from the late '20's...this is quite a puzzler...

I'll give you some nice answers. Firstly, I guess there's nothing wrong with you calling it "Shiny" - it's a nice name; won't earn you a point, though.

Secondly, it may well be a Duvall windscreen, and the lights may come from a Cord, or they may be copies - as this car is not as old as it seems. Which means not from the 20s and not from the 40s.

I can identify the headlights as Woodlite units (as used by Cord, Ruxton, Packard, Jordan, du Pont, Phantom Corsair, etc. and anyone who wanted them aftermarket).  Thought there might be a Blastolene connection but that didn't turn up anything.  Tried to search for it based on just that component but no luck.  Partial point for part identification? ...(lol)

Tell you what? You're very, very close. If I tell you it's 5.8 metres (19.5 feet) long, will you consider digging a bit deeper into one of your suggestions?  ;D

Cool!  I'd only seen pictures of it in the designing/building process so I wasn't sure.

Try googling it. It's up for sale at the Barrett Jackson auction in Scottsville, Arizona just now.

This is a blastolene I think it was called b-702 it has a glass grille. The person who created this car was also a glass blower that's why he did the glass grille. It was sold a barrett jackson I believe in a scottsdale auction but I don't know which year. Jay Leno Also has a car from blastolene it's his tank car that has a patton tank engine in it.

Point for rosenbergm. This is the B702 Blastolene., designed by Randy Grubb. It has a 702 GMC V12 engine in it, from a 2 ton truck from the 1960's. It is an operational vehicle.
