It's a Glas, but not a V8 and not by Bertone.
Locked for you to have another go though since you've got the marque.

1600, by Frua.

Yes, it's Frua.
But you still haven't got exactly what it is right.

What's close? It's based on a 1700 GT, engine and everything forward of the windscreen is the same (1300 and 1700 share bodywork). Haven't seen anything to suggest it had a name other than Viersitzer/Four-seater.

Indeed the 1300 and 1700 GTs shared the same bodywork; so if it's not a 1700 it's a .....?

The name may be Glas GT Viersitzer, or Glas GT four-seater.  Isaria may also be included in the car name.

A 1300! (But it isn't according to the internet info I can find).

It's very hard to find information on this car, but I did find one site which said it was based on a 1300GT Coupé, although...

The name may be Glas GT Viersitzer, or Glas GT four-seater.  Isaria may also be included in the car name.

...it is generally only referred to as a Glas Viersitzer; another site did call it a Glas Isaria but I have my doubts about that, so the fact that it has been identified as a Glas 4-Sitzer based on a 1300GT from 1965 is enough for the point!

Here's another picture:

It has to be based on the 1300 GT, because the 1700 GT wasn't launched yet when this Viersitzer appeared. The hood scoop is shorter than the one that came with the 1700 GT (and was also used on the 1300 GT from that time). This Viersitzer was an attempt by Frua to sell another design to Glas, but he wasn't successful. The Isaria name was used by Glas for his agricultural devices. I don't think that it ever was used for his cars.

Yes, Isaria is from the company name (Hans Glas Isaria Maschinenfabrik).

Web translation of the owner's club website:

GLAS GT four-seater

A "hit" at the Geneva Motor Show 1965

As part of the facelift in 1965 in Geneva GLAS was the four-seater GT presented at the Frua had extended the roof to the rear. Thus, a vehicle for four people was created. It already had the hood of the 1700 GT coupe and already the engine of this vehicle.

The changes Frua changes made quite a harmonious impression, but the car never went into production. It was an experiment that was not pursued because GLASS arise in a completely new vehicle concept should, in the four-seater GT did not fit well (see next prototype GLAS X2L 1300).

Thanks.
I wonder if they're right?

On the histomobile website it's described as having a 1,7 litre engine with 85 bhp.
Mr Thyssen describes it as a "Glas 1300 GT Viersitzer 1965" on his Auto Lexicon site (which I know is riddled with inaccuracies..).
Stefan Dierkes doesn't commit himself!
