Who knows this transporting device?

grobmotorix

Craig Gillingham

It looks German made, to me. Is it a Fendt?

grobmotorix

No. but it is german and the make is known from building cars, too.

Craig Gillingham

Eicher is the only one I can think of.

grobmotorix

Oh, did Eicher build cars?

No, not Eicher.

It is a not too obscure german car manufacturer who has built this.

Craig Gillingham

grobmotorix

That´s a very good gues, but it is not Hanomag.

It´s not prewar, so it is not a Röhr product.

Craig Gillingham

Ok, this is my last attempt, is it a Bungartz?

grobmotorix

Far too exotic!

This company has built some smaller cars in the 1950s and carried on building other vehicles like that then...

Craig Gillingham

QuoteOk, this is my last attempt, is it a Bungartz?

I know I said I would give up on this one, but I couldn't help it, I have to try again.

Is it a Glas, before they built the Goggomobil cars? I've found that they made agricultural machinery, but I can't find any photos.

grobmotorix

No, but the company has built cars like the Goggomobil, that were just around the same size and class...

grobmotorix

LOCKED for you!

It is a Gutbrod, indeed!

luisps

It was a guess based on the information previously mentioned: Microcar producer, at the same time than Goggomobil, and agricultural equipment producer afterwards. Also Gutbrod is a name relatively well known and active recently. I don't have any additional information about that vehicle, but it looks to me could be one of the initial tractors made from 1957 on. In this specific case may be a special model used as seeder.

grobmotorix

It is some years older than 1957, and it it has a name.

luisps

I'm unable to gie you any additional information as it looks a very unusual model.

I've since found out what it is, it's a Gutbrod Farmax, from around 1949. I can't say I've heard of Gutbrod before now.

grobmotorix

Well, I can forgive you this fact because I personally do have vast gaps in australian automobile history... :D

But I can tell you that you´re completely right.

One more point for you.
