Like the last one the base car is easy but who did the conversion and when?

Google Image Search continues to raise its ugly head on AutoPuzzles.
For the sake of our newer members who may not be aware of past discussions on it, Google Image Search as a means of solving puzzles is banned on this website.

AutoPuzzles is primarily a game of automotive knowledge, not of who can copy and paste the quickest.

We ask all members to remember and respect this, and retain the right to ask puzzle-solvers how they came to their answer.

Have fun!

Ford Anglia Touring Saloon by (I think) Friary. I THINK the similar Abbott conversion retained Anglia side glass. Launched just before the real estate, so 1961.

That's what it is yes, although I think it's a hatchback rather than a saloon, from the days before the expression was coined..

I believe this conversion uses the standard Anglia rear side glass too, but turned upside down.

It was unusual for Friary to do a conversion on a Ford at that time, as they more commonly made estate cars out of the big Vauxhalls.

Well done and 1 point to you.
