This looks like a British kit car that I know as a Scorhill Magic but I think it also used other names including MFE Magic.

Yes, it's a Scorhill Magic.
And you seem to be right that it's a re-post, although I wasn't aware of that.
The original puzzle (which I see was actually yours!) just calls the car a 'Magic' so maybe I only searched for 'Scorhill' - I can't remember.  I've had this one on file for at least 6 months and I can't remember what I searched for, only that it didn't show up...
Anyway, you get a point but I'll have to merge it.

Well I thought it had to be a magic in some form. Incidentally for being a rare car I know of 2 examples in use. The one in my original picture and another which is owned by a friend.

Well according to 'the book' 83 were made so that means we have located 5 of them so can anyone else track some down....
