What's this, from when - for 1 point?

Google Search by Image continues to raise its ugly head on AutoPuzzles.
For the sake of our newer members who may not be aware of past discussions on it, Google Search by Image as a means of solving puzzles is banned on this website.

AutoPuzzles is primarily a game of automotive knowledge, not of who can copy and paste the quickest.

We ask all members to remember and respect this, and retain the right to ask puzzle-solvers how they came to their answer.

Have fun!

I'm sure you have the right car but that's more info than I had about it so i'll have to do some checking.
Do you have anything you could send me about this that could substantiate exactly what it is?

I don't agree about Boano... theoretically he could be involved somehow, having just been assigned to manage the Centro Stile, but as far as I know this is a proposal coming from the Costruzioni Sperimentali (protoshop) and made internally by them.
Any prove of the real involvement of Boano would be very interesting, however.

Two were built, one in blue/yellow and another in green/bordeaux (this latter still surviving today).

Better than my eyes! Actually, I struggle in reading that, not in understanding...  ;)
But it seems that a prove has actually been provided and that's always good, even if againts what I believe to be true.
