Tell me what it is and what is so special about it for 1 point, please. :)
I do not know the marque, but it rather looks like a "chase" or service truck possibly
used in the European Truck Racing Circuit.
No, far from that. :)
Well, it is Sunday evening here and the weather is terrible so I have extra time to
let my mind wander.
So...... Racing "cage", racing tyres, driver seems to be wearing a helmet.
Large open area with a lot of tarmac that has directional stripes on it.
Lots of sponsor decals on the truck which I cannot read.
Does this have anything to do with an airport???
It has nothing to do with airport or racing.
OK, let us attack the other side of the question.
Basic vehicle an FSC Zuk???
Yes, it's Żuk. That was the easy part of the question. :D
Easy for you, my friend ;D
I am still lost on what the Zuk is doing, but I am a more learned man than I was this morning.
I now know that a Zuk is a Beetle in the Polish language and thank you for helping me to learn that.
Continuing with the advertising/promotion concept, has it something
to do with the European Football Cup Competition ???
No, it has nothing to do with football.
Point for Bill Murray and open season for Experts to finish it.
Our polish Zuk with V8 engine
Yes! But tell me more - what engine, who made it. Topic locked for you.
It was made by Studenckie Kolo Naukowe Milosnikow Motoryzacji from Poland
The engine is a V8 from (I think) from Mercedes with 250 hp
That's all I need! Point!
It is Żuk A13 Pick-Up with Mercedes-Benz V8 M117 5.0 K-Jetronic engine by students from Lodz University of Technology.
Nice job del!!!!
I had given up when you gave the V8 hint and did find the vehicle on Google.pl.
The Google translation from Polish was pretty awful, but I did find, I think, that it had to be modified quite a bit, it had a 4 speed automatic transmission as well.
If I read the translation correctly, it was not a pleasant vehicle to drive at all.
But, it was quite fast.
Can I now know what the vehicle was advertising??? The scenes at a military base may give me the answer but I cannot read the plastic stickers.

It was just Top Gear Poland photoshoot & test drive.
Thank you Sir, now I can strike that one off my mystery list!!!
And, thanks for the point, I'm not sure I deserved it but at least I did put in a couple of hours research so I will take it ;)
Bill
I knew this car from very long time
There is few more Zuks with powerful engines in Poland
