AL78 - Lacre Hound van

Can you think of the uncommon use for which this specialist vehicle was designed?
That plus the maker and approximate date will get a point.

Another Lacre? the year would be about 1910-12, going by the headlamps. To me, it looks like there are a pack of fox hounds in the back, and the passenger looks to be wearing riding boots, which would appropriate if they were heading off to a fox hunt.

That's near enough for the point - I can't remember the precise year and here it is with the original caption!
