It's "Mavis", a Bentley 8-litre with a 42-litre Packard V12 boat engine. Completed by Chris Williams (in the bowler) a couple of years ago.

Haha that thing is awesome! I actually met the owner / builder in Sweden. He has also built the famous Napier Bentley (which we saw at Silverstone).

While we were in Sweden, a friend told us that there were 17 WO Bentleys touring the country. Luckily their stop at midday that day was about 30 minutes from where we were! We followed them a bit, and stopped at a museum. Chris Williams was checking out the big Isotta engine on display... Maybe he had an idea for his next Bentley  ;D

Chris, although he drives the Napier Bentley with great verve, didn't build it. That honour went to David Llewellyn who had previously used the engine in the Sunbeam known as Tigress. He drove it a few times before passing it on to Peter Morley who had it for 15+ years until Chris Williams bought it in about 2000.
