Good shot but not a direct hit!
Maserati - yes
Lister - no

It's a Maserati-engined one-off racer.

1958 Parson-Maserati?

Yes - that's the one!
It was built in early 1957 actually by Stuart Young of Weldangrind Ltd, a south London engineering company.  The engine was a Tipo 150S and it had a Maserati gearbox, but the frame was 16-gauge welded steel weighing 70 lbs.  The body was made from 20-gauge Nurol and the total dry weight of the car was less than half a ton.  It was raced by Young with some success in 1957 and 1958.
Well done!

Here's the original picture; I wonder where the 'Parson' name fitted in?:

Apparently the name ParSon came from the fact that the Weldandgrind company was owned by a father and son - Stuart Young and his father - this was according to Stuart Young's son quoted on a well-known and reliable website.

Thanks for that fascinating tit-bit.
I would never have guessed!
