Who knows this car?
-
Up!
-
About a 1923 Roamer?
-
No, but from the USA.
-
Cunningham?
-
A Cole, but a bit earlier, 1921?
-
LOCKED for Craig.
You“re absolutly right, but the year is even a bit more earlier... ;)
-
I don't think I could go too much earlier. 1920 Cole Aero Eight, model 870?
-
That“s even more precise than my source and I“m sure you“re right!

But I think it looks ways more modern with the closed steel rims:

;D
Nice!

Here“s a contemporary ad:

Has anybody counted bolts? The artillery wheeled model has 5-stud hubs and 6 bolts at the rim while the solid wheel has 6-stud ones and 12 at the rim.
Incidentally, is the second photo with disc wheels ("But I think it looks ways more modern with the closed steel rims") a photo doctored in period, or is it a 2012 Photoshop job?

I'm pretty sure the disk wheels are made by Disteel. The whole hub was probably replaced (front & back) with a Disteel made one, which is why it's got 5 studs compared to the standard 6 studs on the originals. I've seen Disteel wheels with 10, 11, 12 & 13 studs on the rims.

Hi Sherlock!
It was a spontaneous photoshop job by myself to show how much better it has looked like with the modern wheel type.

And it seems to have been not the most unrealistic photoshop job ;D
I just took the wheels of the very first pic, changed them a bit and put them in the pic with the wooden spoke wheels.
But thank you very much for your mindfulness.

That's some neat Photoshopping. I wouldn't have picked it otherwise.

Not bad for a five minute job, isn“t it 8)
