Manuel, yes, that's its name. It's one of two built.

LOCKED for you to tell me the company that made it and in which year. I'll add another point if you can tell me the name of the designer.

Can u give me some time to sort this out plse Craig.
The last person that said something was locked for me only gave me a few hours :-(

Fowler was the most famous one.

Correct. John Fowler & Co. of Leeds did build these. I'm sure that both of the Rein Drives made, ended up in Australia. One still exists in the Parkes museum, in NSW.

I'm also after a year for the point. And the designer of this machine, if you're interested in the other point.

Manuel

There is an Aussie connection here. According to my books Cornelius Murnane designed and patented the machine. As far as I can tell sales started in the early 1920's. Probably around 1923-25 it was put on the market. It is hard to pinpoint the exact year it became avail in Oz.

Manuel, that's all correct. They were made in 1924, and were displayed at agricultural shows around the UK. They came to Australia in 1926. That's 2 points.
