Identify the make, and specific model of this vehicle for one point.

For another point, describe the involvement of four countries in the production of this vehicle.

I knew it looked like a Daihatsu, but they never had round headlamps.
This is a Bertone Freeclimber II.
Daihatsu made the basic body/chassis structure (Japanese).
Bertone customized the body (Italy).
A BMW turbodiesel was stuck under the hood (German).
And the European importer supplied an Alcantara interior strictly for the Euro market (France).

Locked for bubenator.

This is the French model.  What was it called there?

Well, sources seem to say it was named "Blue Lagoon" in the French market, however, the picture you have posted looks like it has the same badging as the other Euro market cars.

Blue Lagoon is correct.  The other pictures I found of the puzzle car, includes shots of the B.L. interior.

Two points for you.

There aren't a lot of cars out there, with the complicated nationalities of this one.
