Other sources call it Reif-BMW.

I still think your identification is wrong. According to http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=12590.0 , the Reif-BMW and the EMW R1 by Rennkollektiv Johannistal were two different Intertyp cars, which looked very much alike, since both bodies were designed by Georg Hufnagel. In the attached picture #103 is the Reif-BMW and #111 is the Rennkollektiv Johannistal car.
