Could No39 be an Opel Blitz?

Yes it could!
Give me the year and the point is yours.

Does No32 feature Alexander bodywork?

Not Alexander, no.

Year was taken from the home page of the Kottenstedte family:
1936

OK, maybe the chassis was made in 1935.

The Opel Blitz in question was not the truck they bought in 1936, but a ~1935 chassis they rebuilt as a bus after WW II. (And they are not from the Netherlands, but from Ennigerloh-Ostenfelde in Gemany.)

Is it the Alfa Romeo 110 ?

No, Alfa has already been established as has 110.
But since you mention the correct name further down you've got it.  It's the 85-110!
We've really got there so that's another point for you.

Well done!  I didn't know about the Belgian connection hence my reply to your earlier question; sorry about that.  Have 2 points to compensate!

12 10 9 7 points still up for grabs:

#6: Where this bus operates - 1 point
#8: Builder and operator - 2 points
#9: Identification - 1 point

#27: Where this bus operated - 1 point
#32: Make and coachbuilder - 2 points
#34: Purpose of bus - 1 point
#35: Make and coachbuilder - 2 points

At midday Friday 17th European time I'm lifting the 12 points per puzzler maximum but only to 16 points since there are only 10 points still left to garner (or maybe a few more for extra info).  I don't want just one puzzler pinching the lot immediately...

No32: based on AEC Reliance?

It's not an AEC at all (as per my reply #51!)

No9: is it a VDL?

That's very close; just one letter different from what I have, but description would still be needed too..

No32. Eventually I found it by Googling "Bristol" "Eastern Coach Works" - though it is neither a Bristol or was bodied by ECW :)
SEV814 This Leyland PSU1/15 with a Thurgood 41 seat coach was new to Rose Brothers of Chelmsford in 1951. When Rose Brothers were purchased by Eastern National it was transferred to their fleet. It was photographed on 4th March 1962. Width set to 240!!!
