This body style [or similar] was fitted to a couple of different chassis. I don't know who the body builder was but this one looks like a Lancia.

This is the Lancia Lambda 'Airway', designed by Joseph Emberton, built by the Albany Carriage Co. I think it was based on a 7th Series Lambda. Also, this was shown at Olympia in 1927. Most of this car still exists, and was rebuilt. The car above, had a single rear seat. The Airway Lambda that was rebuilt has a wider 2 seat rear compartment. This actual car was sold to an Australian buyer, a year or two after it was built, and spent many years here.

You are right of course. A point. I think personally that the restoration is more of a reconstruction that has only a slight resemblance to the original. If you study pics of then and now, you will find many more changes.... Still, it surrvives. The pic by Dmentd.
