Interesting that all the guesses so far have been actresses' names. The young lady with the car was an actress, but did not have any starring roles in major motion pictures.

first thought was Gina Lollobrigida, then had another go in a slightly different way, searched for movies which featured a white Jag XK140, found a few!, by a slow process of elimination got to the film 'Three Bad Sisters' which included Marla English!. put that into google and hey presto your image is on page 1.
