Not quite what it seems? For a point, please tell me what this is and who is responsible for its creation

Is it perhaps a Cavaliere 3000 made by CRD, Port Charlotte, Florida?

Possibly Sebring 5000 by Classic Roadsters? I can imagine one turned out this nicely, but this would be the most tasteful of the ones that I've seen.

Funny one, this. It's a replica of John Chatham's infamous Big Healey racer, but... in a 1:2 scale. The guy who built it is Colin Rule from Australia. It uses an electric motor but when you open the bonnet you'd swear there's a full working inline-6 under the bonnet, too. The detail is really amazing. Mr. Rule built several more. Unforunately he's not allowed to use the Healey name, so he calls them Junior 3000's.

It's as much fun to scare as to be scared

Great puzzle!   :applause:

They look full size!

Correct! It really does look like a full size car at first glance, but of course once you know....

Sorry I didn't see your reply until now

For a point, who made this and where, and remember that this is AutoPuzzles, so things are not always as they might seem  ;)

No Rookie responses, so up to the Experts...

Well someone has to point out that, whatever it is, it's pretending to be David Dixon's ex-works A-H 3000 registration DD300.
That actually looked like:
Opinionated but sometimes wrong

This is a half scale Austin Healey made by Australian Colin Rule around 2000

Spot on, and sorry for the slow response; exceptionally busy at the moment. Here's another photo of this half-scale electric Austin-Healey to give you a sense of its size. Another point to you.

I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia
